| Asphalt Paved Driveways, Roads and Parking Lots Why do we pave them? Asphalt paved driveways, parking lots and roads are very useful. Just about every person in America, and the world for that matter, uses a driveway a road and a parking lot everyday. We start and end our days in the driveway. And during our time away from home we drive on the asphalt roads to get to the asphalt parking lots of the stores we visit and our work place. We not only use our driveways and parking lots to park our cars and delivery trucks on, we invite our friends, family and customers to park on them as well. We walk on them, using them as a pathway to bring our trash cans out to the curb or pick up our mail and sometimes we even use them as large work areas for some of those bigger projects like changing the oil in our car or as a staging area for your landscape projects. Asphalt pavement provides an easy to clean durable surface for your daily life. Imagine your daily routine (no pun intended, well maybe a little) with no asphalt pavement. You wake up, get ready for the day, jumped in the car to go to work, coffee cup in one hand, steering wheel in the other and BANG! You just hit that bump in your driveway for the fifth time this week and now your coffee spilled on your clothes. AHHG! Now you have to go back in the house, tracking in more dirt from your shoes and change your clothes. Well there's no more coffee left in the pot and now your running late for work. I don't know about you, but that would pretty much ruin the start of my day. You see, dirt and gravel driveways just don't cut it for most of us. Our lives are hectic and stressful enough. We shouldn't need to worry about spilling your drink because of the ruts in your own driveway. Now, I'm no psychiatrist, but I'd be willing to guess that people with smooth, clean, asphalt paved driveways get off to a better start then those with ruts and potholes in their driveway. You know, paving your driveway may just help make your daily life a little bit happier, and it will surly keep the coffee in your cup! What do you think?
